Little Briar Rose, Neureuther Print

Little Briar Rose, the Sleeping Beauty story, etched by Eugen Napoleon Neureuther in 1836. The whole castle is asleep under a Gothic arch, the king and queen nodding off on their thrones, roses climbing over everything. Look long enough and you keep finding sleeping people tucked into corners.

The full etching is here, edge to edge, on a soft off-white mat.
