Student OS for Busy Minds: Notion Student Planner
EVERY CLASS, EVERY ASSIGNMENT AND EVERY EXAM IN ONE NOTION WORKSPACE, SO THE WHOLE TERM SHOWS UP ON ONE CALENDAR. All your schoolwork goes in one list (homework, quizzes, labs, readings, the midterm you would rather not think about yet), and Today, the semester calendar, your grades and your study plan all read from that same list. Put in an exam date and it works out the day you should start studying, five days ahead for a test and two for a quiz unless you pick your own. Type in your points as papers come back and your class grade, your letter grade and your term GPA do the math on their own. It works for high school and college. ADHD friendly, and made for any student with a full plate.
IT STARTS WITH YOUR CLASSES. Add your term, then a page for each class with when it meets, where it meets (or the link, if it's online), its credits and the grade weights off the syllabus. Each class page has tabs for its schoolwork, its study sessions and your notes, so everything for one class is on one page at eleven at night when you are trying to remember what the lab report needs.
WHAT'S INSIDE
- Today: your ONE thing and top three, what's due today and tomorrow, and any test it's time to start studying for
- Hard day mode: what's due today, your ONE thing and That Counts Too, on one screen, for the days when that's all there is room for
- Classes: a page for each class with tabs for schoolwork, study sessions and notes
- Semester calendar: every due date for every class on one calendar
- Grades and GPA: weighted class grades from your syllabus weights, letter grades with pluses and minuses, grade points on a 4.0 scale, term GPA by credits, and the score you need on the final to hit your goal
- Study plan: upcoming tests in the order you should start them, a log of your study sessions, and the minutes you've put in for each exam
- Time Blindness, built into your schoolwork: guess how long something will take, log how long it took, and see the average gap for each class
- Brain Dump: one inbox for every loose thought, with the Two-Minute List and That Counts Too
- Clubs and activities: what you're part of and an hours log, with service hours adding themselves up for when an application asks
- Applications and scholarships: deadlines, and where each one stands
- Money: a monthly budget that shows what's left, and your subscriptions and costs (weekly, monthly or yearly) turned into one monthly number
- Body and Mind: a quick check-in for sleep, movement, water, meds taken and a mood word
- A row of links at the top of every hub, so you can get anywhere from anywhere in one tap
BLANK DAYS ARE NOT FAILURES. Nothing turns red when you fall behind. Work that slips past its date says "Ready when you are" instead of counting the days at you, and the Rejuggle is there for the week that fell apart.
MAKE IT YOURS. Call it whatever you like (Junior Year, Semester Two, The Plan) and swap the covers from the Change the look page.
HOW IT ARRIVES. You get a one-page PDF with your own private link. Tap the link and click Duplicate, and the whole Student OS copies into your Notion workspace, where it works on your computer, tablet and phone. You'll need a Notion account, and the free plan works. Then open Start Here. Everything with "Example" in the name is pretend, so Biology 101 and the robotics club can go once you've seen how things connect.
WHAT YOU GET: a link to duplicate the Student OS into your own Notion workspace, delivered as a one-page PDF. Digital download only, nothing ships. Personal use only, please.
If anything looks off, message me and I will make it right.
