William Morris designed Violet and Columbine in 1883 as a woven cloth, deep navy with gold vines and little red flowers tucked into every corner. A piece of the original fabric is at The Cleveland Museum of Art, which shares the image in the public domain, and we printed the pattern on both sides of the pillow so it looks right no matter which way it lands on the couch.

It goes with a reading chair, a dark green wall, a stack of books you swear you're getting to, and pretty much any blanket you already own.
